Mary Ruefle is the author of ten books of poetry, most recently Trances of the Blast and Selected Poems, published by Wave Books.  She has also written two books of prose and a book of collected lectures entitled Madness, Rack, and Honey.  Ruefle has won the James Shestack Prize from the American Poetry Review, a William Carlos Williams Award from the Poetry Society of America, an Award in Literature from the American Academy of Arts and Letters, a Guggenheim fellowship and a Whiting Award.  She lives in Bennington Vermont.
